When our neighbors in Kountze, Silsbee, Lumberton and Sour Lake need a lawyer, they know to call The Butler Law Firm. We office right across the street from the Hardin County Courthouse in Kountze, Texas. Our attorneys have been proudly serving Hardin County residents for 37 years. As long-time residents ourselves, we are deeply rooted in Hardin County, and it is our desire and our mission to help neighbors when they need assistance with legal matters. If you’ve been injured in a car or truck crash, construction accident, defective products, workplace injuries or an offshore oil rig explosion, our legal team has the skills and experience to make sure you get the medical care and financial compensation you need and deserve.  We regularly challenge insurance companies (including homeowner’s and automobile insurance companies), assisting our clients in receiving the benefit of the insuring agreements which indemnify against loss.

If you have legal needs in other areas of the law, you can count on The Butler Law Firm to answer your call and guide you through your troubled waters. Our decades of legal experience has allowed us to proudly represent clients in the area of Family Law, including: divorce, child custody, modifications of court orders, adoption, and other matters of family law.   We also provide legal services in the area of estate planning and probate.

Certain matters require the assistance of a skilled attorney to navigate successfully. This is what we do.

Your Local Texas Law Firm

In our personal injury law practice, we’ve helped countless individuals across the state of Texas to get a full and fair amount of compensation after suffering serious and severe injuries because of someone else’s negligence. From auto and 18-wheeler accidents to toxic exposure on the job or nursing home abuse, we put our knowledge and skill gained from decades of experience to work in negotiating a first-rate settlement with the insurance company. If the other party disputes their liability for your injury or if you are unhappy with their settlement offer, we are more than ready and able to take your case before a Hardin County jury.  We fight for you, and we fight to obtain outstanding results on your behalf.

We pride ourselves on our reputation, and our attorneys believe that the true success of our law firm is measured in the relationships we have built with our clients.  Former clients who used us in the past for a personal injury case or who have heard about us from friends or family regularly return to our office with a variety of legal needs, and we are always eager to help. As a long-established, community-based law firm, we’ve helped Hardin County, Jefferson County, Tyler County and surrounding county residents with a number of legal issues, committed as ever to providing a high level of personal service and achieving excellent results.
